These SMS Terms & Conditions ("SMS Terms") govern the text messaging program operated by Bear Mechanical ("we", "us", "our"). By opting in to receive text messages from Bear Mechanical, you agree to these SMS Terms and to our Privacy Policy.
Program Description
Bear Mechanical sends transactional and service-related SMS/MMS messages to customers and prospective customers who request service or otherwise opt in. Messages may include: appointment scheduling and confirmations, technician en-route and arrival updates, quotes and estimates, invoices and payment reminders, service follow-ups, and responses to your inquiries.
How to Opt In
You may opt in by checking the SMS consent box on our service request form at bearmechanicalny.com/form, by providing your phone number and verbally authorizing text messages during a call, or by texting our number after we share it with you. By opting in, you confirm you are the account holder of the mobile number provided or have authority to consent on their behalf.
Message Frequency
Message frequency varies based on your service activity with Bear Mechanical. You will typically receive messages only when there is an update related to your service request, appointment, quote, or invoice.
Message & Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply. Any charges for SMS/MMS are billed by and payable to your mobile carrier, or deducted from your prepaid balance. Check your mobile plan for details. Bear Mechanical is not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages.
How to Opt Out (STOP)
You can cancel the SMS service at any time by texting STOP to the number that messaged you. After you send STOP, we will send you a confirmation message and then stop sending SMS messages. To re-enroll, sign up again as described in "How to Opt In," or reply START.
Help (HELP)
For help at any time, reply HELP to any message from us, or contact Bear Mechanical directly at 518-729-2327.
Supported Carriers
Our SMS program is compatible with all major U.S. carriers, including AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon Wireless, Sprint, Boost, U.S. Cellular, MetroPCS, Cricket, Virgin Mobile, and others. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Privacy
Bear Mechanical will never sell or share your mobile phone number or SMS opt-in information with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle the rest of your information.
Consent Not Required for Purchase
Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of purchase of any goods or services from Bear Mechanical. You may still schedule service by calling us at 518-729-2327.
